Habits – both good and bad – can be very powerful in your life, impacting yourself and those around you in many ways. Much has been written about how to break old habits and create new ones, and the best advice I have read on this says that habits grow best when they are repeated in predictable ways.
For most of us putting an activity on the schedule tends to lock us into doing it. It MUST be on your daily schedule as it can take on average 66 days to lock down a new habit, not the 21 days that is the urban myth.
It’s clear that what you do every day matters more than what you do once in a while. And when is the best time of day to build new habits? Lock them into your schedule in the mornings, or just after your have eaten. Trust me, it works.
